Double Cab Door (Rear), Installing And Adjusting
- Install hex bolts - 3 - in upper and lower hinges.
- Adjust double door through oversized holes in hinge.
- Adjust striker.
- Double cab door (rear) is correctly adjusted if, when closed, has a uniform gap around door opening, is not too far in or out, matches contour - arrows -.
- Tighten hex bolts - 3 -.
Tightening torque:
Bolt - 3 - = 55 Nm (41 ft lb)
- Connect connector and push into B-pillar, install cable grommet (vehicles with central locking).
- Lift holding pin - 1 - and install door strap - 2 -.
Striker, adjusting
- After loosening screws - 1 -, striker - 2 - can be moved horizontally and vertically - arrows -.
Tightening torque:
Screws - 1 - = 19 Nm (14 ft lb)
- Adjust striker - 1 - so that recess on lock with turn clip is concentric arrows- to striker (door must not be raised or pressed down).
- Door must have no play when closed.
