Front Seat And Frame, Removing







- Remove hex bolts - 1 -.
- Move seat rearward (arrow), off bolts - 2 -, remove from vehicle.

Tightening torques:
Hex bolts - 1 - = 44 Nm (32 ft lb)
Bolts - 2 - = 30 Nm (22 ft lb)

NOTE: On vehicles with seat heating, the multi-pin connector for the seat heater must be disconnected before the seat is removed.

Swivel seat







- Remove hex bolts - 1 -, remove swivel seat.

Tightening torque:
Hex bolts - 1 - = 44 Nm (32 ft lb)

Driver seat with auxiliary battery - A1 -
- Move seat forward on seat track.







- Pull locking lever - 1 - toward inside of vehicle and push seat further forward.
- Disconnect auxiliary battery - A1 -.

CAUTION: Insulate the positive terminal of the auxiliary battery if the engine is to be started; a danger of a short circuit exists because of charging current.

- Unclip and remove rear trim on seat frame.







- Loosen bracket - 1 - mounting nuts, remove auxiliary battery - A1 - from seat frame.







- Open seat frame front trim with screwdriver, as shown.







- Push trim to left (arrow - A -), unhook joint pins - 1 - (arrow - B -).
- Place trim on vehicle floor.







- Remove hex bolts - 1 -.
- Pull seat off pins - 2 - direction of arrow, remove from vehicle.

Tightening torques:
Hex bolts - 1 - = 44 Nm (32 ft lb)
Bolts - 2 - = 30 Nm (22 ft lb)

Arm rest, removing







- Pull off cap - 4 -, remove screw - 3 - and remove arm rest from seat back.
