Single Seat Upholstery, Removing/installing







- Make up two upholstery wires (2.0 mm or approx. 5/64 in. dia.) to following dimensions:
a = 320 mm (approx. 12.5 in.)
b = 280 mm (approx. 11.0 in.)

- Make up one upholstery wire (2.0 mm or approx. 5/64 in. dia.) to following dimensions:
a = 360 mm (approx. 14.0 in.)
b = 320 mm (approx. 12.5 in.)

- Make up four upholstery wires (2.8 mm or approx. 1/8 in. dia.) to following dimensions:
a = 360 mm (approx. 14.0 in.)
b = 320 mm (approx. 12.5 in.)







- Insert upholstery wires (2.0 mm or approx. 5/64 in. dia.) in seat cover straps as shown.
1 = 280 mm (approx. 11.0 in.)
2 = 320 mm (approx. 12.5 )







- Place seat cover on cushion.
- Clamp upholstery wires - 1 - with loop bands - 2 - on wire in seat cushion (arrows), use upholstery pliers VAG 1634 or equivalent.







- Insert four 2.8 mm (approx. 1/8 in. dia.) upholstery wires in seat cover - 1 - edge loops, fasten to retainer (arrows) with upholstery clips, use upholstery pliers VAG 1634 or equivalent.
