Checking Heated Front Passenger Seat
For Troubleshooting use:^ Test system V.A.G 1466
^ Digital multimeter Fluke 83
Test Condition:
^ Fuse no. 14 OK!
Preparation for Troubleshooting:
- Remove passenger's seat heater control module J 132 (production control number 59) from relay location under driver seat.
- Insert test adapter V.A.G 1466/6 into relay location.
- Connect V.A.G 1466 to test adapter.
- Switch off seat heating.

Troubleshooting Procedure:
- Perform test steps according to table.
- If specified value/test result is obtained, proceed to next step (test result OK).
- If specified value/test result is not obtained, use table for troubleshooting and repair.
- Use applicable wiring diagram for wire testing.
- Disconnect test leads after each step.
NOTE: If malfunction has not been eliminated after performing steps 1 to 5, replace passenger's seat heater control module J132.
- After repairing malfunction, perform functional test of heated front passenger seat.
