Cylinder Head Torque & Sequence

Tighten using torque wrench:

- Stage I 40Nm (30 ft lb)

- Stage II 60Nm (44 ft lb)

01.95 vehicles ONLY (with soft head gasket)

In addition to above, tighten half turn further using normal wrench.

- Stage III 1/4 turn (90°)

- Stage IV 1/4 turn (90°)

Notes:

- Loosening cylinder head: reverse of installation sequence.

- Re-torquing cylinder head after repairs is not required.
