Hood: Adjustments

Hood, Installing And Adjusting (From 01.96)







- Loosely secure hood - 1 - at hinges.
- Align hood and torque screws to specification. Torque: 8 Nm.
- Adjust rubber hood stops so hood is flush with fenders.







- Install hood lock - 1 -, attach cable - arrow - and clip it onto hood, item 7.

Torque: screws - 3 - = 8 Nm.







- After loosening nut - 1 -, locking eye on upper radiator support can be adjusted - arrow -.

Torque: nut - 1 - 19 = Nm.







- Adjust locking eye so hood locks completely without additional pushing when dropped from 30 cm (12 in.) height, outer contour matches and there is no play upward - arrow -.
