Hood, Removing (From 01.96)

Grille, removing and installing (from 01.96)







- Unlock latching tabs before prying grille out.
- Using small screwdriver, carefully pry out grille at locations identified - arrows -.

NOTE: Screwdriver is placed at sharp angle in openings indicated in grille.


Vehicles with hood insulation







- Turn clips 60° and pull out.
- Remove dampening material - 2 -.

Continued for all vehicles







- Press tab - 2 - on operating rod bracket to left, in direction of arrow and remove bracket.
- Remove screws - 3 -. Tightening torque: 8 Nm.
- Remove hood lock and disconnect hood release cable - arrow -.
- Unclip hood release cable and hose for windshield washer (and if present, electrical wire for heated nozzles), item No. 7.







- Remove screws - arrows -, left / right and remove hood - 1 -.
