^ 3254 open-end spanner (50 mm)

Removing

Note: On vehicles with all wheel drive, always unbolt drive axle on transmission-side and let hang horizontally from body. If omitted, damage at constant velocity joint is possible.





^ Remove bolt (arrow) while vehicle is standing on its wheels (if necessary, lift vehicle until the bolt can be reached).
^ Raise vehicle to installation height, taking tension off coil springs.





^ Unbolt shock absorber from control arm, to do so counter-hold at shock absorber using 3254 open end wrench.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal.
