Read Measuring Value Block (Function 08)

The On Board Diagnostic (OBD) continually monitors the input signals and voltages required by the radio unit.

For troubleshooting the input signals can be displayed in the measured value blocks.


NOTE: Individual display zones on display of VAG1551 may be blank (no figures etc.). This is dependent on the radio equipment (e.g. if a radio system with a "BETA" radio unit only has 2 front loudspeakers, then the display zones for the rear loudspeakers will remain blank in "Read Measuring Value Block".


Indicated on display:

- Press buttons -0- and -8-. 08 initiates the "Read Measuring Value Block" function.

- Confirm entry with the Q button.

Enter display group number XXX

Display Group 001 - 005:

- Select relevant display group number and confirm entry with Q button.

NOTE: When the printer is switched on the actual display is printed out.


If the displayed values in all display zones are OK:
- Press button.


NOTE: After completing the function "Read Measuring Value Block" interrogate DTC memory
