- Self-adhesive - back of trim

4 - Spreader pins
- Removal: pry out
- Installation: press in

8 - Spreader nut
- Remains in tailgate

9 - Recessed screw
- For clips - 6 - and - 7 -

10 - Recessed screw
- For securing molded trim - 13 -

- Spread bracket, to install molded trim => fig. 1

13 - Molded trim
- Removal:
- Press trim - 16 - upward and unlatch.
- Remove recessed screws - 15 - and unhook strap.
- Pry out spreader pins - 4 -, unclip trim left side - 3 - and frame trim right side - 1 -.
- Remove recessed screws - 10 -.
- Pull molded trim away from tailgate slightly in lower area and push upward out of brackets - 12 -.

- Installation:
- Spread brackets - 12 - => fig. 1
- After mounting molded trim, pull wedge aids out of bracket - 12 -.

14 - Strap
- Removal:
- Remove recessed screws - 15 - and unhook strap from mounting hole.

15 - Recessed screw
- Two, one on each side

16 - Trim
- Removing: push upward and unlatch

- Remove wedges - 2 -, or allow them to drop out when molded trim is mounted.
