1 - Rubber mounting
2 - Air Cleaner upper section
3 - Filter element

- replace if damaged
5 - Intake hose
- ensure it is seated tightly
- to Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor V101.
6 - 4-pin harness connector
- black
- for Mass Air Flow sensor G70
7 - Mass Air Flow sensor G70*

8 - Intake hose
- ensure it is tightly seated
9 - Vacuum hose
- to junction piece for EGR valve /intake manifold
10 - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Heater Element N79
- for PCV valve
- arrow on heater element points toward intake hose
- resistance specification at ambient temperature (approx. 25 °C) : 7 to 12 Ohms
11 - Positive Crankcase Vent valve
- arrow on crankcase breather valve points to intake hose
- from cylinder head
12 - Connecting hose
13 - 2-pin harness connector
- black
- for heater element N79
- check heater element Voltage supply between terminals 1 and 2, with ignition switched ON : 11.5 Volts minimum
14 - Connecting hose
- from connection on lower intake manifold.
15 - Mounting screws
- for Mass Air Flow sensor G70
16 - Lower Air Cleaner section

- Diagram applies to both Engine Coolant Temperature sensor G62 and Intake Air Temperature sensor G72
- Scale A shows resistance values for temperature range 0 to 50 °C, scale B shows values for temp range 50 to 100 °C.
Examples:
- 30 °C corresponds to a resistance between 1500 and 2000 Ohms
- 80 °C corresponds to a resistance between 275 and 375 Ohms
