With Manufacturer Scan Tool

Check DTC Memory (Function 02)

- Connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) and enter address word 02 "Transmission Electronics" and advance program until "Select function XX" appears in display. Scan Tool Connecting and Initial Checks

- Press keys -0- and -2-. (The function "Check DTC Memory" is selected with 02).

- Press -Q- key to confirm input.

The number of stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) or "No DTC recognized" appears in the display.


X DTC recognized!


The stored malfunctions are displayed in turn and printed out.

- Press -> key.

After the last malfunction has been displayed and printed out, the malfunctions must be corrected as described in the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) table. VAG Codes

- Press -> key.
