Whenever idle rpm, ignition timing or CO are being checked or adjusted, it is absolutely necessary that the Idle Stabilizer be by-passed

- disconnect the two plugs at the Idle Stabilizer

- connect the two plugs together

- after making checks or adjustments, reconnect the plugs to the Idle Stabilizer
