Identification

A bolt head shape: conical

B center: smooth, no serrations

C thread length: 25 mm (1.0 in.)

During repairs to an engine, it is NOT necessary to install new stretch bolts unless they are damaged.
Tightening procedure

- lubricate contact face of nut
- tighten to 30 N-m (22 ft.lbs.)
- tighten an additional 1/4 turn (90~)
