For above vehicles equipped with Mark II floating calipers, perform following steps to rectify complaints of brake squeal or scraping noise:
- remove old brake pads
- clean all brake pad contact surfaces on calipers

^ Do NOT lubricate

- apply plastic backing (Part No. 171-615-357) for brake pads

^ cut to proper size, if necessary

- Install new brake pads (with improved composition):
Part No. 321-698-151 G 12 mm thick
321-698-151 H 20 mm thick
