Removal

1. Remove drive shaft to hub retaining nut.
2. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly.
3. Remove brake caliper and support using a length of wire.
4. Remove brake rotor.
5. Remove tie rod to wheel bearing housing retaining nut, then separate tie rod from wheel bearing housing.
6. Remove ball joint to wheel bearing housing clamp bolt, then separate ball joint from wheel bearing housing.
7. Mark location of camber adjusting bolt, then remove the camber and through bolts, Fig. 2.
8. Support driveshaft, pull housing from strut and remove housing from vehicle.

Installation

1. Insert driveshaft into hub, then install wheel bearing housing onto strut bracket. Install cam and through bolts. Align reference marks on cam bolt and torque bolt to 58 ft. lbs. Torque through bolt to 50 ft. lbs. on models with self-locking bolts, or 36 ft. lbs. on models less self-locking bolts.
2. Install ball joint and clamp bolt. Torque clamp bolt to 36 ft. lbs.
3. Connect tie rod to wheel bearing housing and torque retaining nut to 21 ft. lbs. Install new cotter pin.
4. Install brake rotor and caliper.
5. Install driveshaft to hub retaining nut, lower vehicle and torque nut to 173 ft. lbs.
