Squeaking noise from outside windshield trim molding


A squeaking noise from the windshield area can be caused by the outside windshield trim molding rubbing against the body. This noise can easily be mistaken as coming from the front edge of the instrument panel or headliner.

^ Lubricate the perimeter of the outside windshield molding with a greaseless lubricant such as WD-40, LPS or their equivalent.
