Removing ignition cables with the "New" style connectors requires more force.. To avoid cracking or damaging the distributor cap; ONLY pull the cable straight out of the distributor cap tower. Avoid side to side wiggling and twisting of the cable.

Loosening or peeling back the ignition cable boot slightly will make removal easier.



Note

Components with "New" style connectors are NOT interchangeable with old style. If replacement is required, install a complete set of cables having connectors all of the same size and style.
