Transmission support 3282 is used to remove and install passenger car and van transmissions in connection with transmission jack OTC 1785A or equivalent.

The support is equipped with four arms that can be swiveled, each with a holding arbor that can be moved laterally and up and down. The arbors are aligned with adjusting plates and can be used with changeable support heads for different transmissions.

- let holding arbors down fully with no support heads installed

- mount adjusting plate on centering pins and push holding arbors up through holes in plate

- clamp holding arbors tight

- Install support heads according to symbol on adjusting plate

- attach support heads to transmission and tighten

- remove or install transmission according to description in repair manual
