It is possible that during periods of ambient temperatures of 10~F or below some vehicles equipped with Digifant II, may be hard to start or may not start at all.

To prevent this condition the factory is installing a new high energy ignition coil, high tension wire and silver tip spark plugs as follows:

1990 MY: Jetta - Germany - Start of Production
1990 MY: Golf/Jetta - Mexico - As of 10/89 Production

Vacuum Switch - 035 129 630 B
Retaining Clip - 113 129 830
Gasket for Switch - 113 129 832
