Additional Campaigns

Some of these affected vehicles may also require additional recall repairs. If a vehicle is affected by additional recall actions, all applicable action codes will be printed on the customer's authorization form. For the convenience of the owner, please perform these additional repairs at the same time. For verification, always check your V-Crest system.



Campaign Authorizations

In accordance with campaign procedures, VWUS will mail notification letters including authorization forms to all known owners. It a customer does not present an authorization form, please confirm that the recall is applicable and shows an open status before you commence work by accessing the V-Crest system or by contacting your Zone office. If the recall is required, please prepare a blank campaign authorization form W43 002 3010 and mail the back copy to VWUS.


Dealer Obligation

It is imperative that you schedule recall appointments with your customers on a priority basis. Please provide a copy of this communication to every person in your dealership who has recall responsibilities and ensure that technicians are familiar with the work procedure.
