SUBJECT: Fuel Injection Cleaner Adapter Kit (USG16)

CIS, and CIS-E fuel injection systems on Volkswagen vehicles can now be cleaned using Volkswagen fuel system cleaner G 001 600.00 together with Adapter Kit USG16. Refer to current service instructions for detailed information on this procedure.
Every participating dealer in the Automatic Supply Program, including Volkswagen/Audi duals, will be shipped only one tool package (USG16), freight prepaid. Shipments are anticipated to commence the week of July 11, 1988, and conclude the week of July 18, 1988.
Should you decide not to receive this tool by automatic shipment, please notify your Regional/Distributor service department by July 5, 1988.
If you do not participate in the automatic supply program and wish to participate in the above automatic shipment, please notify your Regional/Distributor service department by July 5, 1988.
Additional USG16 Fuel Injection cleaner adapter kits may be ordered via teleprocessing after the automatic shipment takes place.
