We are pleased to announce the publication of Supplement #1 of the WIN User's
Guide, dated December, 1987.
WIN Supplement #1 will replace the entire contents of the WIN User's Guide. WIN
Supplement #1 illustrates several of the system enhancements that have taken place with WIN, as well as clarifying issues such as dealer follow-up and accounting.
Some of the revisions illustrated includes:
* New Repair Order, designed to accommodate WIN
* Accounting Extracted fields on Dealer Scroll Screens
* Adjustments to Paid Claims - revised procedures
* Adjustments to Recall Campaigns - new procedure
* Dealer Follow-Up
Includes how to follow-up on incomplete claims, denied claims, part requested claims, documentation request claims. Also illustrates how to appeal a denied claim and request a part return.
* New Claim Payment Cycle Chapter
Illustrates the payment cycle, from WIN to the dealer's journals, for paid claims, resubmitted claims, and split claims.
One WIN supplement is being supplied to each dealer. Additional supplements may be ordered in the usual manner under Literature No. W42-001-485-A01. Once received, discard the contents of the original WIN User's Guide and replace with the supplement material. DO NOT DISCARD THE ORANGE TABS! Supplement #1 does not include new tabs or a new binder.
The WIN User Guide may continue to be ordered under Literature No. W42-001-485-1.
The WIN Supplement #1 will automatically be supplied with all WIN User Guide orders.
WIN Newsletters will continue to announce system enhancements and operational procedures.
