Condition

Customer complaint of CD changer skipping over rough roads can be caused by an improperly set Vertical/Horizontal switch (V/H) when the CD changer was installed.

Service

If you encounter the above condition, check that the V/H switch is set in the correct position according to the installation instructions of the CD changer.

Note:
To minimize road bump sensitivity when installing or replacing a CD changer always:

- Install the CD changer in the correct position as described in the installation instructions.

- Always set the V/H switch to the correct position for the orientation of the CD changer.
