Engine Idles Too Fast

Check the following:

1. Auxiliary air regulator hoses have cuts or holes

2. Accelerator pedal binding.

3. Throttle valve or cable binding or misadjusted.
Throttle Body
Also Throttle Cable/Linkage

4. Auxiliary air regulator faulty. Auxiliary Air Valve (Idle Speed)

5. Idle boost valve faulty. Idle Up Control Valve

6. Air leaking past throttle valve

7. Coolant temperature sensor and wiring [1]
