We are pleased to announce the publication of a new Warranty Information Network User's Guide.

This new WIN User's Guide will completely replace the current WIN User's Guide, including the binder, and combines both Volkswagen and Audi claim processing instructions. This User's Guide contains many revisions and updates, and includes a host of new information.

Incorporated into the new WIN User's Guide are:

^ New Claim Types - PT VW Limited Powertrain Warranty XR Demo Extension Request

^ Updated Repair Order examples including a Volkswagen Powertrain warranty repair

^ Claim entry instructions for all of the new Claim Types

^ Instructions for entering a Request to Purchase a Demonstrator Warranty Extension (Claim Type XR)

^ Updates to Chapter 10, The WIN Training Facility, to reflect current information and the new Claim Types

^ Additional damage categories - 66 Instruction of VWoA FT FTC Internal Engine Repair

^ Addition of Appendix F - explanation of information, vital to the dealer's daily service operations, which is available on the Campaign/Warranty Information Inquiry screen

^ Updated Warranty Parts Submission instructions on Pages 8-18/19

Each dealer will be provided with one WIN User's Guide, free of charge. Additional copies may be ordered in the usual manner under Literature No. W42 001 487 1. Upon receipt of the new User's Guide, please scrap all of the previous versions you may have.
