^ Wear and tear items such as brake and clutch friction materials, wiper blades, light bulbs and mechanical and body adjustments (except wheel alignment, tire balance and repair or replacement of tires) continue to be covered for the first 7,500 miles of vehicle use.
^ The 1991 Limited Powertrain Warranty coverage will remain at 5 years or 50,000, whichever occurs first. Component coverage is identical to the 1990 Model Year coverage.

The Federal Emissions Control System Warranty is 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. A list of components covered by this warranty is contained in the latest Warranty Policies and Procedures Manual.
The Federal Emissions Performance Warranty applies only in states that maintain an EPA approved inspection and maintenance program. The warranty applies to any component that causes a covered vehicle to fail an EPA approved state inspection and maintenance test within 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first. If the vehicle has been in use for more than 2 years/24,000 miles but less than 5 years/50,000 miles, the Federal Emissions Performance Warranty will cover only those failures resulting from malfunctioning components which have been installed in or on the vehicle for the sole or primary purpose of reducing vehicle emissions and that were not-in general use prior to model year 1968. This policy is the same as it was for the 1990 model year. Refer to the latest Warranty Policies and Procedures Manual or an applicable owners Warranty Booklet for a list of specific components and coverages.
^ The California Emission Control System Warranty and Performance Warranty coverage remains unchanged for 1991 at 3 years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. California has enacted a law requiring that vehicle manufacturers cover certain emission system components for 7 years or 70,000 miles. A list of these specific components is shown below:
Air Flow Sensor Assembly Fuel Tank
Air Intake Sensor G-Charger
Catalytic Converter Ignition Distributor
