Pre-Delivery Inspection

UNDER HOOD CHECKS

^ Engine Oil Level: Check and add if necessary

^ Coolant Level: Check anti-freeze concentration and add if necessary

^ Brake Fluid Level: Check and add if necessary

^ Battery Electrolyte Level: Check

^ Battery: Check voltage with engine off, if less than 12.5 volts, recharge. Note: Remove surface charge by turning on headlights for sixty (60) seconds prior to voltage check

^ Washer Fluid Level: Check and add if necessary

^ V-Belt(s) Tension: Check

^ A/C Compressor Belt Tension: Check (where applicable)


UNDER VEHICLE CHECKS

^ Standard Transmission Final Drive: Check for leaks

^ Brake System: Check all brake lines and hoses visually

^ Steering Components, Lock Plates, Linkage and Cotter
Pins: Check visually

^ Tie Rod Ends and Tie Rods: Check visually


VEHICLE EXTERIOR CHECKS

^ Wheel Mounting Bolts: Check torque

^ Tire Pressure Including Spare Tire: Correct to specifications

^ Hub Caps/Wheel Covers: Check retention

^ Front License Plate Bracket: Install (where applicable)


^ Headlights: Check adjustment, correct if necessary

^ Parking Lights: Check visually

^ Side marker Lights: Check visually

^ Turn Signals/Indicators: Check visually

^ Emergency Flashers/Indicators: Check visually

^ Windshield wipers/Washers: Check and adjust if necessary

^ Windshield wiper Arms: Torque wiper retaining nut to 12-15 N-m

^ Tail Lights: Check visually

^ Brake Lights: Check visually

^ License Plate Lights: Check visually

^ Back Up Lights: Check visually


VEHICLE INTERIOR CHECKS

^ Fuse: Install fuse # 21 for dome light and clock. Fuse # 21 located in plastic bag in owners manual.

^ Ignition Lock: Check function

^ Warning Lights: Check visually

^ Clock Operation: Check visually

^ Cigar Lighter: Check operation

^ Heater/Air Conditioner Controls: Check operation

^ Horn: Check operation

^ Rear Window Defogger/Indicator: Check visually

^ Door Locks: Check operation


^ Radio: Code radio and check operation. Radio code indicated on Radio Security Code Card located in glove compartment.

^ Interior Lights: Check visually

^ Mirrors: Check operation

^ Windows: Check operation

^ Seats: Check operation

^ Sunroof: Check operation (where applicable)


ROAD TEST CHECKS

^ Seat Belts: Check operation

^ Brake System Including Parking Brake: Check operation

^ Clutch: Check operation

^ Gearshift mechanism: Check operation

^ Cruise Control: Check operation (where applicable)

^ Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Power Accessories/
Electrical Systems: Check operation

^ Passive Seat Belts: Check operation and belt attachment


AFTER ROAD TEST CHECKS

^ Power Steering Fluid Level: Check and add if necessary (where applicable)

^ Fluid Leaks: Check visually
