WARNING

Automotive refrigerants containing CFC's are hazardous to the earth's atmosphere. To protect our environment, use an Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) approved refrigerant recovery/recycling unit stich as Kent-Moore ACR 3, or equivalent, whenever discharging an A/C system.


WARNING

The A/C system should only be serviced by trained personnel familiar with:

^ equipment use
^ related safety procedures
^ regulations governing the discharging handling and disposal of automotive refrigerants.


^ discharge A/C system
^ use Kent-Moore ACR 3 or equivalent

^ remove lower air grill below bumper

^ remove front bumper cover

^ remove A/C lines from receiver drier

^ remove fasteners from receiver drier

^ remove receiver drier

Note

Do not remove the plug caps on the new receiver drier until it is ready to be installed in the vehicle.

^ install new receiver drier with fasteners

^ install A/C lines to receiver drier

^ turn on vacuum pump to evacuate system

^ install front bumper cover

^ install lower air grill below bumper

^ charge A/C system when system is evacuated

^ check for leaks with leak detector
