Intake Air Duct: Service and Repair

To replace the Intake Air Hose:

1. Loosen Intake Air Hose clamp at the air flow sensor.
2. Loosen hose clamp at the throttle valve housing.
3. Carfully remove the smaller hoses that are attached to the side of the intake air hose.
4. Remove hose from the air flow sensor and the throttle valve housing.
5. To install hose reverse procedure.
6. After installation, check intake air hose for proper routing. Be sure hose is not rubbing anything that could cause a tear or hole. Reroute if needed.

CAUTION: Use care during intake air hose installation to the air flow sensor, avoid pushing the curved screen onto the air flow sensor plate.
