- located between sight glass and expansion valve
- use adaptor VAG 1637 for connection when servicing A/C

- switches A/C compressor clutch OFF if system pressure is too low (low refrigerant charge)
- switches A/C compressor clutch OFF if system pressure is too high
- switches radiator cooling fan into second speed as a result of A/C system pressure rise
- unscrew switch to remove (Schrader valve installed below switch to allow removal without system discharge)
