Delivery Rate, Checking

- Voltage supply OK
- Remote control VAG 1348/3A connected
- Remove fuel filler cap





Auxiliary pump
- Disconnect fuel supply line 1 (black) and seal off
- Connect a length of hose (approx. 250 mm) to open connection on sending unit
- Hold hose in measuring container and operate remote control for 10 seconds





- during this amount of time, a minimum of 300 cc's of fuel must have been delivered





Fuel pump
- auxiliary fuel pump must be OK
- Disconnect the fuel return line at the connector and hold it in a measuring container
- Operate the remote control for 30 seconds
- compare the voltage value and the amount of fuel delivered against the chart
*) minimum delivery quantity in cc's per 30 seconds
**) voltage at fuel pump with engine not running and fuel pump running
(should be approx. 2 Volts less than battery voltage)

If NOT OK
- Check for filter blockage or pinched lines, replace or repair as necessary, if necessary, replace fuel pump and repeat test
