Battery, Jump Starting

WARNING:
- Car with good battery must NOT be running when connecting jumper cables.
- DO NOT allow battery charging voltage to exceed 17 volts.
- DO NOT expose a fully discharged battery to freezing temperatures; the battery will be damaged. DO NOT attempt to jump start a vehicle with a frozen battery.

Connecting Jumper Cables:

Connect jumper cables in following order:
1- One end of positive cable -red- to (+) post -1- of good battery.
2- Other end of positive cable -red- to (+) post -2- of dead battery.
3- One end of negative cable -black- to (-) post -3- of good battery.
4- Other end of negative cable -black- to engine block -4- of car with dead battery.

- Start car with good battery first.
- Next start car with dead battery.
- Disconnect jumper cables in reverse order.
