As of transmission build date 06035, Most transmission cases have been sealed using sealant AMV188 200 03 instead of a paper gasket between case halves at -arrows-.

You may encounter instances after this transmission build date, where a paper gasket Part No: 020 301 191F has been used.

CAUTION
Pre-load adjustment on bearings will be affected if correct sealing method is not used.

DO NOT install a paper gasket when a transmission has been sealed with sealant.

DO NOT use sealant AMV188 200 03 on transmission that has been sealed with a paper gasket.
