^ These components are tested by On Board Diagnostic (OBD).

If the Engine Control Module (ECM) or Transmission Control Module (TCM) is replaced, or if the repairs are performed on the Throttle Position (TP) sensor; the system must be restored to the basic setting.

1 Transmission Control Module (TCM) -J217

^ Location: Below right of rear seat

2 Valve Body

^ Location: In transmission 096 under the oil pan.

^ The Solenoid Valves -N88, -N89, -N90, -N91,-N92, -N93, N94 and the Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor -G93 are attached to the valve body

3 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G68

^ Location: At transmission housing.

4 Multifunction Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125

^ Location: At rear of gearbox housing.

5 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor -G69

^ Location: The TP Sensor is located on the throttle valve assembly (engine)

^ Different design depending on engine version.

6 Engine Control Module (ECM)

^ Location: Depends on engine equipment

7 Transmission Range (TR) Program Switch -E122

^ Location: The program switch with light is located on the center console in the cover with selector scale.

^ May be designed as rocker or rotary switch

^ Is tested by OBD only as rocker switch

^ Can be tested in measured value block.

8 Shift Lock Solenoid -N110

^ Location: Solenoid is located on selector lever mount.

9 Data Link Connectors (DLC)

^ Location: The DLCs are located on the centre console below the cover in front of the selector lever.

10 Cruise Control Switch -E45

^ Location: Steering column switch

11 Brake Light Switch -F

^ Location: The brake light switch is located at the pedals

12 Kickdown Switch -F8

^ Location: The kickdown switch is integrated in the throttle cable in front of cross panel at front of engine compartment.

13 Park Neutral Position (PNP) Relay -J226-

^ Location: Relay panel
