Condition

In production, crimped-on rubber grommets to seal single wires in multi plugs all use

Service

In case of wiring repair on connectors incorporating single rubber grommets the following procedure applies:








^ remove old terminal and old grommet if damaged

^ push new rubber grommet onto wire

^ strip wire and crimp terminal to wire

^ insert terminal into housing

^ push grommet-into connector housing with installation tool,

^ Part No. 000 097 105 A - 8 mm
^ Part No. 000 097 105 - 10 mm

Note

To ensure proper sealing between wire, grommet and terminal housing, the color of the replacement part must be the same as the original grommet.
