As a replacement part for the manual steering gear only, an adjustable left tie rod is supplied. When installing this tie rod, adjust the length as follows:





- check left tie rod dimension a and adjust if necessary dimension a = 410 + 1 mm (16.14 + 0.039 in.)

Note

Adjust toe on the right side tie rod only.

If the left tie rod length is disturbed at any time by removal/replacement of the tie rod end, the tie rod length must be checked and adjusted to dimension a = 410 + 1 mm.
