Idle Air Bypass Screw
Idle Air Bypass Screw:
The Idle Air Bypass Screw is located in the throttle valve housing. Adjusting the screw changes the amount of air which is allowed to bypass the throttle plate, which in turn changes idle speed. Turning the screw clockwise will decrease the amount of air bypassing the throttle plate and reduce the idle speed. Turning the screw counter-clockwise will increase the amount of air bypassing the throttle plate and raise the idle speed.
