A/C Pressure Switch F129, Checking






The A/C pressure switch is located next to the high pressure service valve.

A/C compressor clutch switching (between two blue wires):
- switch closes above: 2.0 bar-3.0 bar (29.0 psi-43.5 psi)
- switch opens above: 24.0 bar-32.0 bar (348.0 psi-464.0 psi)

Radiator cooling fan second speed switching (between red and black wires):
- switch closes above: 12.5 bar-16.0 bar (181.3 psi-232.0 psi)

- visually inspect 0-ring seat. (10.8 mm X 1.8 mm) to ensure proper seat in groove

Note: The A/C pressure switch can be removed without discharging the A/C system.
