Insufficient Or No Heat Output






1 - Heater core
2 - "Norm" A/C button
3 - "Max" A/C button
4 - Air blend (temperature) flap
5 - Fresh air blower

- start and warm engine to normal operating temperature
- switch A/C (buttons 2 or 3) OFF
- test operation of fresh air blower 5
- must operate on all four speeds

- check operation of temperature control knob
- air blend (temperature) flap 4 must audibly contact stop when knob is moved to full cold

If NO
- adjust air blend (temperature) flap control cable, Service and Repair

- adjust temperature control knob to full hot
- adjust air flow distribution knob to HEAT position (footwell vents)
- adjust fresh air blower knob to position "2"
- warm air must flow from footwell vents (through heater core 1)

If NO
- check thermostat
