- intake air pre-heating checking, Testing and Inspection
- installation position: brass connector nipple with notch toward control flap

first fasten to lower section then mount on rear brackets

if removed; ensure that re-installation is tight

- note installed position arrow on valve points toward intake manifold
12 From multifunction indicator (A/C)
- for vehicles without ABS only
13 From brake booster
for vehicles without ABS only

- install upper part with D6 locking compound
- 20 Nm (15 ft lb)
- remove and install using-135

- moisten with fuel before installing

- check pressure using VAG 1349 injector tester; must be 3.7 to 4.8 bar
