Condition
^ Abnormal wear on front or rear tires
^ Complaints of excessive tire noise
Service
- Verify abnormal tire wear (cupping or feather-edging)
- Check suspension components and wheels for damage
- Replace unevenly worn tires with a set of four Goodyear Eagle GA tires
- Check and adjust front wheel alignment using the preferred settings.
Note:
Before replacing any tires, always contact your DSM for authorization and instructions for prorating.
Service
- Check rear axle alignment using the preferred settings.
* Total toe for the rear axle is adjustable through the use of a special stub axle (-10'). Toe settings on each side must be equalized to the greatest degree possible by shifting the entire rear axle on its mounts.
Caution:
Front camber corrections must be made at the suspension strut/wheel bearing housing connection only. Do not alter the position of the ball joint in the control arm.
