Lock Carrier With Front Panel, Removing / Installing





1 - Bolt - 12 Nm (8.9 ft lb)
self locking, clean bolt threads with wire brush, nut threads with tap and coat with AMV 197 000 O1 prior to reinstalling.

4 - Screw - 5.0 Nm (44 in. lb)
self tapping,

5 - Lock carrier with front panel

6 - Lock

Removing





- Unscrew lock -1-, detach hood release cable.

- Pull off connectors for headlight; turn signal lights and fog lights (if applicable).

- Loosen securing clip for power steering fluid reservoir -2-.

- Remove screws -3-.

- Remove air intake grill in front bumper.

- Remove screws (arrows) from under vehicle.

- Lift lock carrier slightly, and remove toward front:
• ensure carrier does not touch fender edges.

Installing





- Ensure fender edge protectors are in place.

- Do not touch upper radiator bolt when installing.

- Clean lock bolt, nut threads and coat with AMV 197 000 O1 prior to installing.
