Refer to Fig. 2 and 3. to aid in removal and installation of wheel bearing housing.

REMOVAL
1. Remove axle shaft to hub retaining nut.
2. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly.
3. Remove brake caliper and support using a length of wire.
4. Remove brake rotor.
5. Remove tie rod to wheel bearing housing retaining nut, then separate tie rod from wheel bearing housing.
6. Remove bolts retaining ball joint to lower control arm, then ball joint from control arm.
7. Mark location of camber adjusting bolt, if installed, then remove the bolts, Fig. .
. Support axle shaft, pull housing from strut and remove housing from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Insert axle shaft into hub, then install wheel bearing housing onto strut bracket. Install cam bolts, if installed, and through bolts. Align reference marks on cam bolt and tighten through bolt to specifications.
2. Install ball to control arm, then tighten bolts to specifications.
3. Connect tie rod to wheel bearing housing and tighten retaining nut to specifications. Install new cotter pin.
4. Install brake rotor and caliper.
5. Install wheel and axle shaft to hub retaining nut, then lower vehicle and tighten to specifications.
