Note:
When performing repairs to the clutch, make sure that the ball valve (-arrow-) is not damaged.
1 - Circlip
- Different thicknesses to different clutch assemblies
- Mark after removing and install in same position
2 - Thrust plate
- Install with stepped side facing circlip
3 - Inner plate
4 - Outer plate
5 - Pressure plate
- Install with rounded side facing corrugated ring
6 - Corrugated washer
- Install with rounded side facing pressure plate
7 - Circlip

8 - Spring supporting ring
9 - Springs
- Install onto spring supporting ring
10 - Spring supporting shell
11 - Circlip
- Must be installed in groove of clutch housing
12 - Diaphragm spring
- Install with curved side facing piston
13 - Piston
- Sealing lips are vulcanized to piston
- Moisten with ATF before installing
- Turn piston slightly while installing
14 - Clutch housing with pump shaft
15 - Piston ring
- Replace only faulty piston rings
- Piston ring is destroyed when removed
- Check that ring is correctly located - Fig. 2

- Make sure that ends of piston rings are hooked together.

- Place piston ring in groove.
- To hook ends together press sides of ring in and guide ends over one another.
- Do not twist piston ring out of groove on one side.
