with hose connection to upper radiator
2 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
3 - Thermostat
- checking: heat thermostat in water
- opens at approximately 8O°C (176°F)
- closes at approximately 105°C (221°F)
- stroke min 7.0 mm (9/32 in.)
4 - Cover
with hose connection from lower radiator
5 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
6 - O-ring
replace
7 - Cover
with hose connection to pump for coolant run-on
8 - Plug
- for vehicles without air conditioning
- plug is replaced with temperature sender for vehicles with air conditioning
9 - Temperature sender switch (G21F87)
- yellow
- 4-point
- for coolant run-on

- switch temperatures
on: 1O1-107°C (214-225°F)
off: 94-1O0°C (201-212°F)
