Repair Procedure

Mounting Engine Sling:

1. Mount engine sling 10-222A with adapter hooks 10-222 A/2.
2. Depress the clutch pedal and hold (will require the help of an assistant). The clutch release lever on the transmission is now in the operating position.

Mounting Engine Sling:

3. Lock release lever in position using adapter hooks 10-222 A/2.
4. Pull clutch pedal back up to clutch-released position.

Mounting Engine Sling:

5. Pull clutch cable down (direction of arrow) until the adjusting mechanism in the area of the dust boot can be compressed.
6. Allow the clutch release lever to return to the clutch-released position.
7. Repeat functional check.
8. Remove engine sling 10-222A and adapter hooks.
