When using the VAG 1551 Scan Tool to diagnose a customer complaint, always attach a copy of the Scan Tool printout to the repair order and keep with the vehicle service file.

To avoid possible delays in the event a component is requested by the Warranty Parts Test Center, always make sure a copy of the VAG 1551 Scan Tool printout is securely attached to the warranty parts tag prior to shipping.

Always attach copies (only) of 1551 Scan Tool printouts (original printouts fade with age).
