    Data Link Connector
      Check Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) Memory with VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) and erase if necessary.
Inspect
    Tires
      Check condition and pressure (including spare).
    Steering
      Check dust seals on ball joints and tie rod ends, check tie rods.
    Manual Transmission/Transaxle
      Check fluid level, check for leaks.
    Fluid - A/T
      As equipped. Check final drive for leaks. With 01M replace seal on plug after each inspection.
    Exhaust System
    Drive Belt
      V-belt: check tension and condition, adjust as necessary.
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
    Battery
      Check electrolyte level and add if necessary. DO NOT attempt to check or add fluid to a maintenance free battery.
