Cooling Output, Checking

- Turn control knob for fresh air fan to setting 2.
- Turn control knob for temperature to stop "cold".
- Turn control knob for air vent to left to stop (air flows from instrument panel vents).
- Press A/C switch (E35) button -4-.
- Insert thermometer into center vent.
- Start engine and let run at 2000 rpm.

Specified value
The A/C circuit is properly filled when the temperature in the instrument panel vents drops to approximately +10°C (50°F) in one minute.

Note: This value should be reached with normal air humidity and ambient temperature of 20-25°C (68 - 77°F). With higher humidity and ambient temperature the temperature at the vent may be slightly higher.
